“One must follow the light of the inner constellation, or they will miss their star and ‘follow the wrong gods home.’ We are truly original when we act from the inner spirit of our lives.” — Michael Meade
The Wildflowers came ready to lean into the places where we were out of alignment and look honestly at the patterns and relationship dynamics asking to be reexamined and restructured.
We gathered in the nest, surrendering into the airy support of Libra, creating space to honor our full expression while inviting each other to spread our wings.
There was a deep sense of resonance as we each recognized the places in our lives where something felt out of alignment. Perhaps one of these speaks to your own journey, too. Remember, you are not alone.
Taking on too much responsibility for others
Holding ourselves back or feeling paralyzed when it comes to taking action
Longing for deeper, more authentic day-to-day connections
Wondering, Who am I without my stories?
People-pleasing and finding ways to manipulate ourselves to meet others' expectations
Watching old patterns repeat with different characters but the same familiar story
Which of these are you ready to look at more honestly?
The astrology of each New Moon this year has invited us to make space by releasing what we're carrying before planting our new intentions and desires. And this gathering was no different.
We went deeper into our individual soul work, exploring what has been keeping us stuck in disharmony or misalignment. Then we moved into our release ritual, using the prayer ties from my vision quest last year to give voice to what we were ready to let go of and offer it to the fire.
There is something powerful about speaking what has been held inside and allowing ourselves to witness its release.
From there, Amanda brought in some of her clown magic through a vulnerability practice that stirred things within us that were beyond words. Through silence, playfulness and curiosity, we were invited to soften, open, and experience ourselves in a different way.
And from that space, we moved into our ritual to breathe life into our desires for love and harmony—beginning with the relationship we have with ourselves.
And then, the hummingbird made its appearance.
It reminded us of the medicine of endurance and our destiny, of continuing to follow the greater knowing within us, even when the path ahead isn't clear.
We were all blown away to see a hummingbird appear at night, especially as hummingbirds had already begun their migration. What a gift to be met by this tiny being, reminding us to keep following the light of our own inner constellation.
We took milkweed seeds and let the air carry our intentions across the land, planting more seeds of nourishment for the monarchs to come.
As we sang Let the Way Be Open by Mother Turtle, we remembered that spirit sings through our voices and prays through our hands. May the seeds we plant—in the earth, in ourselves, and in our relationships—continue to spread love out into the world.
And, of course, we celebrated my birthday! We hung out, danced, and chatted around the fire. Some of us camped on the land beneath the clear sky and bright star people.
What a beautiful reminder that this work isn't only about what we're releasing or what we're trying to change. It's also about being here, together, making room for joy, and remembering that we belong to something much bigger than ourselves.
May you continue to find the courage to follow the light of your own inner constellation. May you recognize where old stories are keeping you from your truth, and may you discover spaces where you can be the you-nique Wildflower you are, shining in the way only you can.
With love, warmth & devotion,
