Reflection - Pisces Full Moon Eclipse: What Did You Release?

“We must create new rituals to hold our heartbreak for the world and to ignite radical imagination for a new way of moving forward.”

— Francis Weller

While I was in co-creation mode for circle on Friday, the thoughts of “you’re doing it wrong” and “it’s not enough” kept running through my head.

I was feeling heavy after exiting the eclipse portal, which had been inviting me to be with and welcome the watery depths of my being. And underneath that heaviness was a gentle nudge to trust, surrender into being, and allow some of those limiting beliefs to be released at circle.

I have learned to lean in and allow whatever energy is present to become part of what is being created through me, rather than believing I need to have it all figured out before I can lead.

So I acknowledged those thoughts in circle and allowed them to be witnessed in my being.

And something shifted.

Being witnessed helped create the space for me to be in relationship with those thoughts in a new way, rather than allowing them to run the show.

What Are You Ready to Release?

The wildflowers were ready to journey into the watery depths of Pisces and release what had completed its cycle over these past two years.

I’m curious...

What has shifted for you since September 2024?

What have you outgrown?
What are you no longer willing to carry?
What is asking to be released or forgiven so something new can take root?

Connect with me and tell me. I’d genuinely love to hear what has shifted for you.

Some of the “weeds” we released—and perhaps there are still deeper layers asking to be witnessed—were:

  • Addictions or dependence

  • What other people think

  • Rescuing or taking care of others while sacrificing ourselves

  • Being the “good” daughter, wife, sister, mom, etc.

  • Taking on other people’s shit because we feel everything so deeply

  • Trying to control what comes next

  • Reacting from old patterns and ways of thinking that keep us small

  • The patriarchy and the conditioned ways that keep us from being wild & free

Releasing Through Our Bodies

Spirit guided me to offer two release rituals to honor the intensity of the Full Moon and our exit from the eclipse portal.

After reflecting on what we were ready to release, we moved it through our bodies and voices in the labyrinth.

I intentionally left the grass long in the threshold so we could physically feel the long grasses we had been walking through during this eclipse portal.

After each wildflower walked in, I cut the grass behind them, so they could feel the freshly cut grass beneath their feet on the way out.

It felt like a physical reminder:

The path behind us has changed. We don't have to keep walking the same way.

When we reached the center, we chose to stop fighting the current and let it carry us in soul-centric community.

Each of us took a dried rose and some rocks to submerge and release into the water, symbolically releasing/cleansing what we were ready to let go of.

Then we walked out of the labyrinth singing, continuing to trust, move, and shift the energy.

We returned to the fire and continued the ritual by taking those same roses and releasing them into the flames to be alchemized into something new.

And from there, even more space opened.

Space to express ourselves through our voices and our bodies, while being mirrored and witnessed by the other wildflowers.

There is something powerful about being witnessed as we shed the layers that no longer fit.

We don't always need someone to tell us what to do, the way in us knows the way.

Sometimes we need a brave, sacred space where we can feel what is true, release what is ready to go, and remember that we don't have to do it alone.

And Then There Was the Frog...

The frog medicine bookended our circle.

I found one while setting up for circle, and then, as I was doing the final cleanup the next day, another frog appeared.

For me, frog carries the medicine of transformation, cleansing, renewal, and moving between worlds.

It felt like a beautiful little wink from Spirit, validating the transformation and cleansing that had moved through our circle.

So I’m leaving you with this question:

What are you ready to stop carrying?

Not because you should be “over it.”

Not because someone else says it’s time.

But because some part of you knows the cycle is complete.

What if releasing isn't about losing something?

What if releasing is how we make room for what is ready to become?

With love, warmth & devotion,

Jenny
