Reflection: Leo New Moon Drum Circle Medicine

How might it be to invite in a deep breath to land in your body to receive the medicine from our drum circle last week?

We circled in the barn - my dad's machine shop. Could it get more masculine?  I took my time transforming the space with tapestries, candles, solar lights & incense.  It felt powerful to be in such a masculine setting, surrounded by women gathering to make music together.

Great mystery orchestrated it better than I imagined. Three mother-daughter pairs sat in the North, calling in our destiny of intergenerational spaces, while Lorena held the South, sending our sound vibrations to the ancestors & future ones.

After we opened the circle, we each shared what we were releasing in order to create space for the seeds of our dreams to be planted.  We had threads of fear, resentment/anger, responsibility for others' emotions, insecurity, shame, self-judgement, mom stuff, doubt, control over outcomes & expectations burned away.  We were all READY to move through it with the music we co-created.

Lorena guided us in moving the emotions through our bodies, voices & instruments.  Sisters shared poetry, writings & songs to express their truths.

Our rituals reminded us of our deep interconnection - and that sometimes we need our sisters to help us reignite our inner flame.  One by one, we spoke our dreams aloud, then we blew out our candles, sending those dreams to the ancestors & spirit guides.

One wildflower said, "The freedom & absolute divine energy I felt last night was ecstatic. I don't know if I've ever danced as hard as I did last night. I felt the energies moving through me, and this feeling of connectedness that was so beautiful, it felt like beams of light were shining through the barn. I felt so safe, so powerful, so full of love & gratitude.  So from the depths of my soul thank you & I love you all."

Upcoming Wildflower Gatherings - Space is limited - reserve your space soon if you are called to join:

Until next time, may you be love & allow it to surround you
