Reflection: Medicine from the Full Moon in Libra Honoring Death
How might it be to take a pause to check in with your body & breath before receiving the medicine from our circle?
Together we gave voice to our relationship with death, something we don't usually talk about in our society. And we lived into June Singer's wisdom, “just by speaking, I can break out of my self made prison.”
Death is a teacher & represents the completion of life in the physical realm to expand into the spiritual full light beings we are. And whether we are conscious of it or not, we go through many mystical deaths throughout our lifetime giving us space to practice dying with beauty, grace & ease just like Mother Earth teaches us.
So many of us live in fear of death & the mystery in the unknown. Birth, death & rebirth are all threads from the same fabric of being human. And when “we befriend our teacher, death, we can befriend more of life.” ~ Bridging Transitions
What if death is the time of seeding, an opportunity to look at things, to catalyze change & to go with the wind of great mystery? Most of us spoke that by being in relationship to death we have more reverence & humility for the thread of our life that is weaved into the great tapestry of all of creation & all relations.
One woman said that when I hold onto what was or what has died, it kills me from receiving what is here now. Are you open to receive all life has for you?
After walking the labyrinth we buried what was dying or needs to die in our life in the new garden being added to the east side of the labyrinth. We sprinkled dried out flowers over it to allow beauty to cover the death. And the new plants will use what died from each of the women as compost to grow from.
Let's keep leaning in together to deepen our inner well so we have more of the love that we are to overflow out to the world.
