Reflection: New Moon in Aquarius to Dream a new Dream

How might it be for you to take a beat to practice the sacred exchange of giving & receiving with the power of the breath you've been given?  From this space of being, receive the medicine from the New Moon circle where we dreamed a new dream together.

We are all feeling the chaos of what Joanna Macy refers to as the Great Turning, which is "a vital, creative response & wholesale revision of our values & our perceptions toward this precious planet."  She reminds us that, “Our earth is alive. It’s not a supply house or a sewer, it is our larger living body with vast evolving intelligence that we are totally a part of and we can draw on.”

Together we acknowledged that we are a part of this transformation taking place & rather than shutting down, in circle we planted seeds for a new dream.  We allowed the energy of Aquarius, that is known as humanitarian, to provide a bridge between now & the future to tap into our imaginations to draw out our dreams.

We recognized that we are truly stepping into the unknown & we are being invited to follow our hearts that live in the present & choose from a place of being centered in self, rather than from the battle in our logical mind that wants to have it all figured & feeds the doubt about trusting our wise bodies.

In circle, we passed a candle flame to light our own individual candles to write prayers to share & used our breath to spread the seeds & make a wish by blowing out the candle.  May these prayers shared in circle meet you in all you are navigating, maybe even print them out or write down the ones that resonate. I invite you to read them outloud & write/speak out some of your own.

  • May we remember we are one. One of the same divine. There is no separation.

  • May we be whole & connected to all relations.

  • May we know a spiral way of being.

  • May we remember change can be easeful.

  • May you remember how much you are loved. This love is so strong & grows deep within. It cannot be influenced by outside forces. May you always remember this. May I be guided back to this self-love, this unconditional love of self, when I temporarily forget. May you always remember my love for you is for all of you, exactly as you are.

  • May you live every day with confidence in your light & what you bring to this world.

  • May you know you are supported & lean into your ancestral inheritance.

  • May you continue to inspire others through your bright spirit & unrelenting optimism that the universe is always working in your favor.

  • May you trust that everything is always working out for you.

  • May you live every day with an open heart & an open mind - providing a safe, kind, & supportive place.

  • May you always meet the injustices of the world with kindness, love, & empathy for humankind. May you always lead with love.

  • May I always listen to know.

  • May I be curious with an open heart.

  • May we hold a place in our heart for people struggling with mental illness.

  • May we support ourselves so we can serve others from our overflow.

  • May we be good stewards of the earth.

  • May we not be blind to differences, but learn to know & embrace them.

  • May we remember that all of creation is precious & sacred.

  • May we walk with kindness, grace, & humility.

  • May we consistently live through the lens of love.

  • May we share with & care for our neighbors.

  • May we have the courage to stand up for what is right & true.

  • May we continue to use our imaginations to dream new dreams.

  • May we tend the gardens of the lands & our hearts.

  • May you continue to find your soul's calling through these learnings - deepening your spirituality for the betterment of yourself & those around you.

It is also supportive to switch all the May you's or May we's to MAY I, then say them again with May I. Allow this prayer medicine to marinate in you as you continue to breathe life into your imagination of what else is possible.
